Panasonic is the most well known name in the industry. Panasonic is a Japanese massage chair manufacturer and that is one of the reasons the massage chair is so expensive. Any massage chair coming from Japan has a higher tariff/tax to import and that is why you have to pay more money for any massage chair imported from Japan. The tax/tariff is added to the price of the Japanese massage chairs. Many chairs from Japan are not made for the average American stature and are very low to the ground and very narrow to sit in and the space age design that does not match many peoples' decor. The Panasonic massage chairs listed above do not fall into many of the Japanese chairs mistakes but were designed for style and for the average American.
